A Successful Finale of the Climate Case

The article deals with the case Naftrac Limited (Cyprus) v. State Environmental Investment Agency of Ukraine that had been considered by the Permanent Court of Arbitration and decided on 4 December 2012 with the favorable for Ukraine result. The subject-matter of the arbitration was Ukraine’s compliance with its obligations under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (1992) and Kyoto Protocol thereto (1997).
