Verification of inheritance case existence abroad

Each month Ukriniurkoleguia receives dozens of applications from Ukrainian citizens with requests to verify if there is any estate remained after the death of their relative or what happened to the estate of one’s relative who died many years ago.

With the assistance of its foreign correspondents Ukriniurkoleguia verifies inheritance case existence, availability of unclaimed estates as well as discovers status of old estate matters. The mentioned verification is possible only if the applicants have all necessary information about the deceased (complete name, approximate year and place of birth, last place of residence and the year of death (at least approximate) and if the applicants are entitled to inherit in conformity with the inheritance law of the country where the deceased passed away.
